Provide students (year-round) with the unique opportunity to explore, learn and participate in the FUTURE of HEALTHCARE through mentorship, innovation challenges, networking opportunities, and inspirational stories.
Our Objectives
Mi2 Outreach aims to provide students with opportunities to learn from the best in the field with "mentor sessions" from leading healthcare professionals. These invaluable sessions will help to expand one's knowledge in the medical field, allow them to hear directly from medical experts with Q&A time, and provide students with networking opportunities to connect with resources within all fields of medicine.
Our Community
Mi2 is an organized body that consists of multiple chapters with leadership (most are CHOC Mi4 intern alumni) and members that span across multiple schools and districts. Each chapter is established in a high school. All chapters participate in Mi2-wide activities such as mentor sessions, innovation challenges, and innovation fairs. Each chapter has officers that include president, vice president, secretary, communication directors, coordinators, and ambassadors.
Our clubs include multiple fun activities:
- Guest speakers: listen and learn from leading professionals from all healthcare disciplines
- Innovation challenges: collaborate to solve real-world medical problems
- Medical Innovation Fairs: present your project to peers from all our Mi2 chapters and healthcare professionals
- Networking opportunities: interact and build connections with healthcare professionals
- CHOC's Mi4 Monthly Meetings: gain opportunities to present innovation abstracts to fellow innovators
- Mi4 Internship workshops: learn key factors to help you stand-out during submission and interview
