Our Story
Advocates for student voices in Healthcare
We are Medical Intelligence & Innovation (Mi2) Outreach, a self-governing and student-led organization consisting of members across multiple schools and districts within Southern California. Based on the tremendous and impactful experience we shared at CHOC's Mi4 internship, our team created Mi2 Outreach. Mi2 Outreach will leverage some of the benefits of CHOC's Mi4 Internship program and expand it to all high school students throughout the school year. Through mentorship, we strive to bring more awareness to data intelligence and emerging innovations within pediatric medicine.

Our teams are located in multiple locations across Orange County (ie. Aliso Viejo, Dana Point, Irvine)! We will continue to expand to more chapters and spread the amazing benefits and stories with everyone looking to be a part of The Future of Healthcare! See you soon!
Our Inspiration
Our organization was created with inspiration from CHOC's (Children's Hospital of Orange County) Mi4 (Medical Intelligence, Information, Investigation and Innovation Institute) Summer Internship program. This program gives students the unique opportunity to explore the future of healthcare and learn more about emerging areas (ie. AI, big data, nano-medicine, innovations in healthcare delivery, etc.) that are relevant to the future practice of pediatric medicine. Mi4 is a leader in pediatric innovation in the United States and internationally and a driving force for the charter of our organization.
